1. The #1 daytime activity is to have fun in the sun! The Eden Roc has direct access to Miami Beach. Swim in the Atlantic ocean or enjoy one of the hotel's five pools. There's jet-skiing, sailing, volleyball, water-skiing and more. Other ways to enjoy the outdoors include: Jog through South Pointe Park. Play golf at one of the nearby greens.
2. See and be seen. Head to South Beach (SoBE), a neighborhood within Miami Beach that extends from 1st St. to about 20th St. The Eden Roc is located in mid-Beach, at 45th St. and Collins Ave. Grab a cab or rent a bike from one of the many DecoBike stations in the area to explore some of the SoBe attractions listed below:
3. Check out Lincoln Road, Miami's fabulous outdoor pedestrian mall. Lined with outdoor cafes, boutiques, art galleries, coffee shops and bars, Lincoln Road is a great place to grab a bite or take an afternoon stroll. Prime people watching, too, day or night! We especially recommend stopping by the Britto gallery on Lincoln.
4. Walk down Ocean Drive, the easternmost street in South Beach, which stems from south of First to 15th Street. Ocean Drive is the center of the Art Deco District, which features more than 800 historic buildings erected during the 1920s, 30s and 40s, and contains a variety of architectural styles. Ocean Drive is also home to several prominent restaurants (including "News Cafe," "Mango's," and the MTV-popularized "Clevelander") and is the site of Gianni Versace's former ocean front mansion.
5. Seeking a little bit of adventure? Jungle Island is an interactive zoological park on Watson Island. It features a wide variety of animals, but it's especially known for its "Winged Wonders" show, where birds from around the world perform very cute tricks! Great for all ages. For nature lovers, another great attraction is the Miami Beach Botanical Garden, a 2.6-acre green space located in the heart of South Beach.
6. Relax at the ELLE Spa, located at the Eden Roc. Enjoy a fitness class.
7. Nightlife!
